Dr. Derek J. Heard earned his B.S. in Biology from Albany State University in 1995. He then went on to earn his degree in medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Heard completed his internship and residency at Southwest Georgia Family Practice and has practiced at Phoebe Northwest and East Convenient Care.
